Reflection And Worship
“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:20
This month, we’ve explored how faith demands action for economic justice. As we conclude, remember that Jesus promises to be with us as we engage in this difficult but necessary work.
Working for systemic change can feel overwhelming, but we don’t work alone. The same Jesus who fed the hungry, healed the sick, and challenged unjust systems walks with us as we continue His mission in our time.
As you worship today, celebrate God’s call to economic justice while committing to sustained engagement with the policies and systems that shape human flourishing. Let your worship include both praise and pledge, both gratitude and commitment to action.
The work continues, but we work with hope, knowing that God’s kingdom will ultimately prevail and that our labor in the Lord is never in vain.
Prayer:
Emmanuel, God with us, thank You for walking with me in the work of justice. Help me persist in this calling, knowing that You are always with me. Amen.
